Meet the Mortal Behind the Magic

Gilded Shimmer Soaps is a small-batch, handmade soap shop where storytelling meets skincare. Every bar is inspired by a character — from the gods of Olympus to the courts of Prythian — because the things we love should be part of our everyday lives.

I started making soap about ten years ago out of necessity when my family was on a tight budget, and quickly fell in love with the craft. There's something almost magical about turning simple oils into something beautiful that people actually use.

In 2020, I closed my Etsy sewing shop to go all in on soap, and started sharing my process on TikTok — soap-making mixed with Greek mythology stories — where I found a community that loved both as much as I do.

My mythology obsession goes back to 2nd grade, when I first learned the stories behind the constellations. That childhood wonder never left, and it's why every soap is named after a character. When you hold a Rhysand or Achilles bar, I want you to feel a little piece of that world in your hands.

Every bar is handmade in small batches with skin-loving oils and long-lasting fragrance — and because I make everything myself, no two batches are exactly alike. That's part of the charm.
